For my Contextual influences project I studied the effect of the cubist movement on modern art styles like low poly art. For my visual response I created a campaign poster for the RSPCA using the style of low poly art. My poster was designed to be used in bus stops around the uk to promote animal adoption. To show that a pet is for life and not something that will fade away when there no longer centre of attention as they will always require a great level of care.
The use of the low poly style effectively promotes the message of a memory fading away as it distorts the image it resembles implying that they are no longer prioritised. The broken pieces surrounding the main image implies that the memory is fading suggesting neglect.
